Specimen Requirements
Preferred:
Container/Tube: Mint Green Top (Lithium Heparin Gel) and a 24 hr Urine Collection
Minimum Volume: 1 mL blood and 3 mL Urine
Collection Instructions: Collect a 24 hour urine specimen with simultaneous blood draw.
Also Acceptable:
Container/Tube: Gold Top (SST-Gel)
Specimen Stability
It is recommended that urine assays be tested within 2 hours of collection

12-20 g/24 hr
