Specimen Requirements

Specimen Type: Blood

Container/Tube: Cell-Free DNA BCT and Lavendar top

Specimen Volume: Fill two "tiger" top Streck tubes and one Lavendar tube with 10 mL

Complete the requisition Form: Select the appropriate test, complete all fields, afix one barcode to the upper right corner

Collection Instructions:

1. Do not utilize butterfly needles for collections. 

2. Collect 10 mL in each tube and gently invert tubes at least 10 times

3. Record time of collection and username on Cerner labels.

4. Utilize Cerner label and attach to tubes.

5. Do not cover 2D barcode on tubes with the Cerner label.

4. Record collection date/time on large Cerner label and include with Kit.
