All Stools ordered for Ova & Parasite testing will include Cryptosporidium/Giardia Antigen per laboratory policy. Ova & Parasite testing is restricted to specific criteria. Test requests not meeting the criteria will be changed to Crypto/Giargia Antigen per laboratory protocol. See Ova and Parasite, Travel History or Immunocompromised, Feces for more details.

Please use your best judgement when determining whether to order an additional O+P. When in doubt, call the physician or provider’s office to inquire.
